Problems with valuable host?

The site for valuable host is down. Recently I noticed that one of their servers was constantly down (vhost server; at least a week), and unfortunately it was the server that contained the forum. I understand this may have been related to the recent hurricane? However, today my site is down in addition to the entire valuable host site. Does anybody have any information on what is going on? Is this temporary or is it permanent. I have a bad feeling

I am sure there working there harddest. Sometimes when things like these happen everyone is working on fixing it rather then answering emails.

Whats better?
Getting it fixed :: or :: Getting emails saying it will be fixed

I think its ok not to answer emails if your working on a problem that can be fixed in a few minutes, (then answer once the problem is fixed) however if anything is going to take more then 1 hour you should at least set up an auto response to let people know what is going on.

It also might be that their email server for their email is on that same server and they aren't getting any email through.

Yes, they should at least let you know if they can't get it fixed soon. I feel for you as I too have been in that situation and it's really hard to sit and wait without knowing. My suggestion would be to switch hosts because it doesn't sound like it's going to be fixed soon. Only bad thing about that is it will probably get fixed as soon as you move (if you moved) which is always fun! LOL!

Good luck to you, I feel for you man!
