outages forum - logging in
Can i ask if there's a particular reason why you need to be logged in to view the network outages forum?
The couple of times i've wanted to check there to see if there's a problem at x, y or z DC is when i'm working on a site or server and am not logged in, it's a little annoying clicking only to see 'nothing'
Not a complaint, just curious what the reason is for that, as i 'm sure there's many people who get directed here to see if their host/network has a problem and they would have to register just to find out.

You don't need to be logged in to view it.
There is no best host. There is only the host that's best for you.

This should be fixed. It looks like one of the vB permissions was set incorrectly for that forum
