May be you should take 2checkOut.com out of the list as they are famous for having issues such as DOS attacks etc.

Regards.

Any site or web presence can fall victim to DoS attacks; there is no hiding from them and that’s the bottom line. Yahoo, Ebay, Google, Microsoft have all battled with DoS attacks and one thing that remains constant is that it takes time, effort and resources to build an infrastructure that holds up under a DoS; and at that still fails at times. Im proud to say iv had a hand in building such an infrastructure with/for 2checkout.com and will never be ashamed of any clients iv served nor my work there in.

Hey! I've been trying to get ahold of you.

Looks like your server is down.

None-the-less, I'm interested in your holiday special.

PM or email me (I prefer the latter).

Very nice price!

Is the support included in the $85? Just n case of strange issues afterwards?
Also what about updating the scripts you install, extra costs etc.?

One more thing, why Snort instead of Tripwire? (just curious)

Site was down from 01:00am dec. 26th to 07:30am EST (-0500 GMT) sadly due to some memory issues on the server.

Right to the questions; 30days service-related support is included with the service.

As for Snort & Tripwire they are both very separate programs that address completely different areas of security.

Tripwire is a data integrity and verification program; to monitor file systems for object changes of all sorts from file modes to length and modified times.

Whereas; snort is an NIDS - network intrusion detection system. By means of pattern files it matches network traffic to specific attack patterns and logs the incident or other actions based on such matches.

Ryan,
The $85/month "Server Aware monitoring" plan includes all this right? With the advantage of getting everything updated monthly and of having you repair/reboot the server in case it gets ill, correct?

How much time between an alert and the first actions?

Do you have experience with the great DirectAdmin?

I've heard good comments about you, but you're certainly not alone in your company. Do you have or plan to get ISO certification, so that we know that quality is present everywhere in the company?

Do we get reports and documentation about everything that you do (changelogs)?
