I havnt tried modern bill, but i use WHM auto pilot.

It can be a bit hectic for people who first get dedicated servers but all issue's are brought up in the Read me.

they are both good in their own right, however i prefer whmautopilot for its integration - and suits my needs better

Id also go with AutoPilot, ive been using it for ages and have watched it rapidly develop.

Currently the only issues that let it down for me is lack of Multi Currency support and Tax.

But V3 will address this and more i believe.

It would actually be interesting to see an expanded poll that would also include other options... such as ClientExec, PerlBill, etc.
