Web Hosting: Decision Help

All the following webhosts have what I need. I'm looking for advice in terms of support, reliability, etc:

lee-kelly-hosting.com
ph4host.com
neonhq.com
cybexhost.com
crazyhostguy.com

I realize some of the owners post here -- if you have something that you wouldn't want to say out loud here, please either PM or e-mail me (othersider@optonline.net).

Thanks!

P.S. Sorry about the links - they're not clickable because I don't have 5 posts yet

It is fine to ask for reviews and opinions of different web host. I would also suggest using the search function to see what has already been posted.

None of the above. Nothing personal meant against any of these hosts, but I would pay more and go with a more established host. I sometimes think the best hosts don't necessarily use WHT as a source of customers.

What makes you think these hosts are not as 'established' as the rest? Also many hosts here including myself come here to chat with others in the web hosting community as opposed to using it as a 'source of customers'.

Well, OKI, they are all fairly new hosts, judging by their domain creation dates. I call BS on the 'we've been in business 5 years, just under another domain name that has, er, been deleted'.

That's fits my definition of 'non-established'. To the original poster, I suggest going with a company that has been doing business under the same name for at least two years. Preferably 3 or 4.

I know that eliminates at least 80% of the guys on here.

Sorry, I may be missing something here... but what gives you the right to call those hosts liars? I'm presuming you have some sort of factual back-up for this statement?

Many Hosting Companies used to do business under a different name, as many started small, then became a global provider (the best way to do it, in my opinion).

OKI was right when he says many Hosts simply come to this forum to chat to other hosts, about many things, be they web hosting related, or just chatting in general.

If you have an opinion about a company that is based on actual fact, or personal experience, then feel free to share the wealth, if not, i'd refrain from labeling them in the way that you did.

Pay attention, IHSL. I wasn't calling anyone in particular a liar. I merely made the factual observation that all the domains listed were recently created ones.

Then, I expressed my opinion that the excuse (used at least a time or two that I can recall here) that 'we've been in business x years under another name' is BS. I did not say any one of these hosts were making that claim, did I? Read more carefully next time, guy.

If you disagree with my contention, then great. I think the original poster as well as anyone else reading this thread is well capable of sorting out which way he wants to lean. Don't you?

To blanket a statement like you did, got your point across very well.

If the comment was not directed at the hosts in question, then why post in the topic to a direct question from the topic starter?

What? If you can't get all the way through a post before making a snap judgment about what someone said or didn't say....

Well ok, add the rest of your post to the quote, either way, it was an unfair post, with no factual backup nor reasoning.

Ok back on topic...

Othersider, there may be people here that would have a suggestion for you if you were to tell us what it is that you need exactly. By including your specifications we might be able to suggest one host over another as one may be better in areas specific to what you will use the account for.

I think I'll let my previous posts speak for themselves. No further illumination needed on my part.
