What is the issue here? I get it for aol.com accounts also.
Help would be greatly appreciated.

/scripts/updatenow;/scripts/upcp;/scripts/fixcommonproblems
try that command also take a look at your /etc/localdomains and make sure msn.com is not there... also check your /etc/resolv.conf as well

Thanks for the quick response, I ran those, but not sure if the issue is resolved, I did find:
localhost.localdomain in my
/etc/localdomains
Should I take that out? It has the rest of my sites I've put up.

it looks to me that your hostname is messed up.

In my resolv.conf file I have it set as:
Quote:
domain epicservers.com
search epicservers.com
nameserver 69.93.9.XX
nameserver 69.93.9.XX
|
Where XX's resolve to my correct nameservers.

More unroutable mail domain fun
I am also getting "unroutable mail domain" errors - literally almost half of all the e-mail we send out, using Perl rather than PHP. We have Exim and CPanel on this account.
The host insists that they allow the user "nobody" to send e-mail, which I know can be a cause of this error. They now claim that we are sending too many e-mails per hour, although the most we've sent at once is 472 e-mails. However, our subscriber lists are growing and we are considering a dedicated server.
Will running our mailing scripts suid solve this problem? We are sending using MIME::Lite with the send_by_sendmail option set. Another thing I wonder about is if the mail is being rejected because it is not being sent with smtp authorization.

Hello,
Take a look at that post.. Maybe it'll help
http://www.webhostingtalk.com/showth...hreadid=235126
Also make sure that when you go in WHM, go to "TWEAK SETTING" Prevent the user 'nobody' from sending out mail to remote addresses should be UNCHECKED !
Good luck

Make sure there is no limits on mount of emails that can be sent through SMTP, and also the suggestion above.
Also verify that /etc/localdomains does not have msn.com or any other major domains (or domains which aren't hosted on your server) in it.

Mail is probably not being delivered due to the lack of a reverse dns record for the mailserver ip.

We do have limits on e-mails per hour (600 per hour), but I have set our script to sleep 7 (wait 7 seconds) between sending each e-mail to respond to this issue.
We are also not sending by SMTP, we are using MIME::Lite with the send_by_sendmail() option.
The host allows the user "nobody" to send mail.
rammystyle, I read your other post too. Did adjusting the limits fix the problem? Because by the same token, if I adjust my scripts to send fewer e-mails per hour than the 600 the host allows, then I would assume if it fixed it for you, it will fix it for me too....

insite2000,
I didn't get any feedbacks from my client so I assume that adjusting the limits fixed the problem! I will let you know if I get anything !

ssh into your server and run
host msn.com
if it returns the right address then you have check /etc/localdomains and /etc/userdomains for msn.com
