I think you will need a US bank account but I could be wrong. You could probably email Chris over there and he could get you a definitive answer. I'll tell you that it would be worth working out the bank account issue if you can though. They have a good deal for Merchant accounts and Chris really knows the business and CDG has been a good move for us so far.

Chris gets a lot of kudos in these forums, but asking him is a really good suggestion. I had a slightly complicated situation, sent him an outline of it, asked him if he could give me some idea of where I would stand vis a vis approval.

He answered promptly, completely, and true to his word, I had an approval + setup less than 24 hours later. He'll let you know what he can do for you.

With respect to your specific question on whether CDGcommerce can handle international merchants... CDG can only approve an international merchant -if- they have a U.S. bank account, U.S. business entity and a U.S. signer for the account.

If the above criteria are not met... you may want to consider a third party processor (like PaySystems, 2CO, PayPal) or an international processing solution like WorldPay or PSI-Gate.
