Coca-Cola Introduces New 30-L Size!

Enjoy

Quote:
The new plastic bottle is nearly four feet tall, and weighs 274 pounds when filled with Coke. In development tests, it took an average of three men to lift the new bottle. The product will fit in an average refrigerator, but only when all other products and shelving have been removed. Most inconvenient of all, the new Coke will go flat if not drunk within 17 minutes, even if it is promptly recapped

Quote:
"The three-liter didn't fail because it was too big, but because it was not big enough," Coca-Cola CEO Vic Hertner said. "With our new 30-liter size, that won't be a problem. Two liters is nothing. I could urinate two liters for you right now. But 30 liters? That's untouchable."

When I was a kid I used to work in a supermarket (urrghhh...bad memories). You should have seen the mess when one of the normal sized bottles were dropped and popped.

If you drop that thing and the packaging ruptures it's gonna go off like a bomb.

They should have put it in a bladder inside a box rather than a bottle, then put a little tap on the side. That would have stopped it going flat!

Doh..Just read the article and realised it's a spoof.

You know I think if they released that people would actually buy them just for the novelty value.

Novelty, if it came with wheels I would cart it around like life support. I think they are right. The three liter is just not big enough!

OMG, they finally make a coke size just perfect for me. That's my one week supply! I need at least 5 bottles to last me 1 month.

Wow...

Time to calculate how much rum and how many limes to buy to go along with it...

Just kidding.

Maybe.

How about this - 6 liters of crown and coke and 6 of captain morgans spiced rum? That'd give people a nice option
