Would just like to drop a line or two about the past week and the experience with Modernbill.
We were running an older version of Modernbill and had been wanting to upgrade for sometime. We had done all of our own upgrades in the past. Since the last upgrade however, we had added 5 servers to modernbill, around 50 new packages and other code scripting. Based on these changes, we decided to pay modernbill to do the upgrade for us.
They started yesterday 12/12/03 and ran into a few problems with the upgrade.
These were due to changes that we had made to our system that they were unaware of. That being said, Jon and Mike were a great help with the upgrade.
First of all both Jon and Mike talked to me at home to help work out with the details.
Mike stayed up until around 3 am to finish the upgrade.
Will say that we have worked with a ton of companies over the years and this has to be one of our best experiences. They have a great team and a great product.
We finally got a chance to look around today at all the new features that they have added. Again in a word: WOW. We now understand why the new version took so long to release. It was well worth the wait though.
We look forward to spending many more years with this company, group of guys, and their great product.
