Hello,

I need another merchant account that accepts european businesses.

I am tired of PaySystems.com Anti-Fraud system that never works, so I am looking for a more reliable merchant provider.

I have no budget for this, as long as it gives me what i need:

- NO FRAUD (I want to ban all orders from suspicious countries)
- REAL MERCHANT SUPPORT (do not want the company to send me an email saying that I had another chargeback and another and another.... CALL ME INSTEAD. I need something with 24H maximum response.

PS: I am considering Worldpay, but posted this topic here so I can get more options.

Hi Andre,

I wish you very good luck on your search. Unfortunately it won't be easy at all. The best I can recommend to you is WorldPay. The only companies I know that service international are 3rd party merchants such as 2CheckOut, PaySystems.

Maybe try and contact your bank and talk to them. You never know what talking to your bank can turn around; they can advise you on many good things such as various good international merchant accounts, and proper merchant accounts - they may take lots of money from you in the beginning but the knowledge they let off can be priceless at times.

When you say you want an account that supports european business - do you mean an account that allows you accept foreign charges from Europe? Or an account that lets you accept in Euros as the currency?

Also - are you a U.S. based or non-U.S. merchant? If the latter, your choices are a bit more limited in most cases. If you are U.S. based, then you will probably want to look for a smaller merchant processor that can give you more personalized service as you are describing.

Definitely check into everything... references, track record, any "fine print" in the contract like termination fees, contract length, full rates & fees (and watch for fees under different names!) and make sure to verify - in writing - everything that you need so that both parties have a clear understanding.
