How to send money using PayPal w/o CC?
Hi all,
As you know, there are some of us here who are a bit younger (I'm only 19 in fact) and doesn't have credit card. I'm just wondering if there's a way to get PayPal to send money without adding a credit card to your account? I've already added a bank account to it but my sending limit is sill sitting at a wonderful $0.00, even though I have $150+ in PayPal already... Hope someone might know how to do it, so I can start buying things online.
Regards,
Andy Huang

Well you can get a debit card which can work like a credit card, but you can't spend more than what's in your bank account. Also, you are almost guaranteed to be approved because of that fact.

well, that's what I thought as well; but on the website its telling me this:

even though I have 150+ in Canadian currency and some USD in there... I mean, surely enough, with so many users, PayPal is not going to scam my money (or so I hope); but if I cannot use what I have in there, what good is it for?

Perhaps you could use your parent's card, and just never charge it. This is what I do.

I want to ask a question. Is teh only way to verify my paypal account is through a bank account? Is there a way I can verify my paypal account with a credit card. If so, how? It seems like a credit card only increased the limit, but not verify it.

You can only only verify using a bank account. I have noticed that if you want to send money, you have to have a credit card. I had a substantial amount in my paypal account as well with only a bank account and it would not allow me to send. Sorry...

In the US, accounts are Verified after a bank account has been added and confirmed; however, Verification requirements may differ in other countries. If you are being prompted for Expanded Use Enrollment, you will be required to enter a credit card.
