    Private or Shared SSL Certificate

Which one is better for the topic, Private or shared SSL Certificate.... also, for what prices can I get each of these?

    Thanks,
    steve

Shared SSL is normally setup the host and can be used by all used by using thier username at the end of the hostname(if setup that way) while private SSL requires a seperate IP for each Cert, and will cost you $25(ev1servers last I checked) to $100+. If the client is a ecommerace site then Private looks nicer, while if its a hobby site that only uses it for secure login, it may not be needed.

I could be wrong, but I believe those pricing structures are for ev1 clients only because I had to order mine through my client login.

Didn't know that, maybe I didn't have to order it through my login afterall. Thanks for the correction!

Yup, EV1 is your best bet. Installed a few from them with no troubles at all.

    Good luck!

This isn't to mention you will find plenty of people who have used EV1 and are happy to recommend them. They are great both in service and price.
