How do you keep track of your clients information, like their name, domain name, any contact information (email, screen names, phone numbers, etc)?

Do a search for client management software.
When people do respond, you will get 2 answers.
Modernbill, AutoPilot.

We recently started using ClientExec, it is quite nice, and rather inexpensive too. Right now they advertise at $99.00.
Only negative comment I have about it right now is the trouble ticket system. It makes you assign the ticket to yourself and then other techs cant edit it from there.

ModernBill all the way. And as previously mentioned, an offline backup is always kept just in case.
Do some research as to what you need. ModernBill is great...for us...however, may not be for you. Some programs may have too many features, some may not have enough. Just take a look at what you want the software to do first, and then take a look at what is available.
Good luck!

I'm going to check out lpanel. Not sure what to expect as it's still in its early stages though. www.lpanel.net is the url.

I wonder if you can disable their trouble ticket system and
use another script for that...

Is ModernBill sort of like a WHMAutoPilot? I took a really quick look and it looks similar...
