Meta tags

Site is hosted on (free host) I initially used url frame with my site tags included via control panel, to mask the free url addy, but now have doubts about whether this is search engine friendly so have reverted to url re-direct.
Can anyone advise as to which is the prefered method to adopt

if you want to submit your site to a search engine and you are using frames

you have to submit the frameset! you do it by inserting meta tags just as you would do with a normal doc

the other thing you asked about, redirecting is also good

you have a normal single frame doc e.g. index.html which serves as meta tag info to search engines, so it's easy to read, and it redirects instantly to the frameset

this way, your frameset will always be displayed correctly, because it is accessed through your index.html doc

hope it helped

P.S. as long as you do it right there is not a better way, both ways are good

Thanks Airnine but I think you may of misunderstood my awful question having read it again sorry but my site does not use frames.

Ok this is a Domain pointing Q . Looking in the control panel of my Domain name, in DNS management I have 2 options

Url frame which would mask the free hosted site url address, giving the option to include meta tags in the dns management

Or Url redirect which just points to where the site is hosted.

Can any of these be used, or are there any disadvantages, obviously I would prefer to use Url frame
