2CO payment question

Hello,

I was wondering if 2CO has an early xmas special or some other deal.
I am asking because I don't really like the set up fee?
Paysystems is ready to waive it. If 2CO waives it I'd go with them.

HL

I don't think anyone likes the setup fee.

If I were you I would be trying to base my choice on anything other than the setup fee of $49 which is minimal to say the least. I would do some searching for feedback on both paysystems and 2co and find out which one offers more of what you want and also feedback on the level of quality support they provide.

I can tell you I have used 2co for about 2 years now and I can tell you they have many problems due to attacks, system screwups etc but overall it will give you the most bang for your buck over a merchant account.

Also check both rates and realize if one is 1.00% more than the other or has a higher per transaction fee that $49 and then some can add up so I would see what rates they are both changing which might even be the same but its a good thing to check before signing up.

The setup fee is a very minimal aspect of either company.

Both have their advantages and disadvantages.

Again, it is best to do some research on the issue, and base your decision on the quality of service rather than the setup fee.....remember, you're trying to find a company to handle YOUR money, not just provide a service.

I personally don't think it's worth it offering 2checkout as a form of payment when selling budget hosting. They take out too much of your profit. I offer paypal, checks and money orders.

Our plans start at $9.99/mo and $45/year. They still take out too much of *your* money. Our customers are satisfied with paypal and checks/money orders. It works for us too.

The deal 2CO has going is a rate reduction of 0.5% for current sales processed (and paid) on the Dec 16th payment.

A Holiday "thank you" to our active Vendors.
