Anyone with an @AOL email.

Can someone with @aol.com email address please pm/ email me?

It appears as if they've blocked my server (for whatever reason) I'm not listed on any RBLs.

This one particular customer thinks the problem is with us. I'd like to basically send you an email and you'll send me a reply...(Just to see if in fact we are blocked by AOL or not.)

I'd really appreciate anyone's assistance.

Thank you in advance,

Here you can test and see if they are blocking it:

If they are... Do you have reverse DNS setup on your mail server?

Once you get that squared away you can call them and submit a ticket to get it unblocked: 703-265-4670

AOL requires that you setup reverse DNS on your servers. That's the most common reason why your email cannot get through.

You may be on a server that has been listed as spam by AOL. When that happens, the entire server is blocked, not just one account.
That's going to be happening more frequently. Reporting Spam to AOL is very, very easy. Just click on the e-mail in the list, hit
spam button at the bottom and it swooshes off and reports itself as spam.
If you are being blocked, your host will have to contact AOL and assure them that the spammer has been eliminated. Then, after a couple of days, you may be able to get mail through.
You can find out more about how AOL handles e-mail here:

Well thank you for your responses.
I was on the phone with an AOL Postmaster department (after waiting 40 minutes on hold) and they've assured me that there are no blocks of any sort on any of my IPs.

I have Reverse DNS setup since day one.

AOL Postmaster rep couldn't tell me what the problem was. He said he's "escalated" the issue and someone should get back to me within 72 hours.

A helpful individual (Paws) contacted me from WHT and helped me do some tests. I tried sending emails to his aol email from my server & my home ISP.

My home ISP's email got though, while the email from my server did not.

He was able to send email to my server from him AOL email.

He also contacted AOL live help and brought up the issue with them. (How he was unable to receive email from me.) This guy went out of his way to help.

Paws, Thank you very much!

does anyone have any other suggestions as to what I can do? (Other than wait for the next 3 days till someone from AOL contacts me?)
