I gave up on this one, was only getting 45.97K/s

Edit: I just noticed it is on the same network as FDC tests so that would explain the high transfer rate to the FDC servers

Yay 400th post! Only took 2 years

and u seriously think that speed is "high" for 2 servers located in the same building on the same network?

not to mention "that" network is having problems as the file is not accessible from lots of other networks.

You have requested for speed test for several times. Why do you need to request for it again?

From Rackshack:
20:55:37 (177.32 KB/s) - `20meg.file' saved [20129226/20129226]

Went all the way to 260 KB/sec, but then slowed down to about 160 KB/sec.

Very slow. Around 10kbps for me, when I usually download at 500++kbps.

2MBps is a very respectable speed for a server on the same network. Granted, a well configured LAN could (and does) achieve more, I do not see why, by today's standards, you would need it higher?
