I need four beta testers to try out our new server and control panel for our hosting service that will be launched next month. I need people that are willing to give feed back on any problems you might find, and offer suggestions on how to make our service better.
For your time you will receive three months of free hosting with the following specs:
Space: 200MB
Transfer: 5GBs
Sub-Domains: 10
POP3 E-mail: 25
MySQL Databases: 5
The beta testing period will last for three months. During this time you will have access to our latest products and services at no charge. If after the initial three month testing period you would like to continue testing our products for us, will will continue to host your site for free. Please post any inquires here, or email me at the link below.
To show our thanks to all of the people on this forum who have helped us along the way, even though you may not know it, this offer is only open to current members of "WebHosting Talk."

Now this sounds great really great. But is it free for life as long as the company is alive? What is too good to be true usually is. It did catch my eye though.

Yes, the offer is still open. There is no catch. As long as you are willing to test our products and give us feed back on them it is free. By taking part in the testing program you have the chance to help shape the future of a new hosting company. This is your chance to get the features you want to see included in a hosting package added and to offer suggestions for new services.
I look forward to hearing your you.

I would like to thank everyone that responded to my request for beta testers for our new control panel. I have signed up six people, and they have already provided some great feedback. If you would like to see what we have come up with, you can try out our demo listed below. There is still a lot of work to be done, but I think we are headed in the right direction.

UnitedTec,
I just checked out your control panel. Excellent! My only complaint is it may be a little too much to load graphics wise. Try to get those graphics as small as possible and use as little graphics as possible to make it fast loading.
Also, an alternative might be to make submenus. When I login, I would want to get what I want down ASAP, and not have to click 5 times to do what I want to do.
Hope this helps.

Also ...
One more thing. Running a shell session through a web browser is just asking for trouble. I would highly suggest you avoid doing that, as you are going to end up with a lot of customers complaining because someone stole their password and deleted their files.

Vincent,
Thanks for the review. I thought about submenus, but I want to keep scroll bars off of that frame so I won't break up the image. I'm going to work on trying to compress the graphis a bit. Right now I've got a list about three pages long of things that need to be done, and I've been setting at this computer since 4:00 a.m. Anybody know how to put coffee in an I.V.?

UnitedTec,
LOL! Seriously though, I would really try as much as you can to make it easy to navigate. Less is more.

I know it's been three years, but are you still looking to get your beta program going?
