E-mail Not Working Sending Back Mail

Hi All

For the last few months everytime we e-mail our clients using our client management system, we get probably most of them back containing the following:

Quote:
Mail Delivery Failed - returning e-mail to sender.

e-mail@aol.com
Unroutable domain "aol.com"

Now this returns on all e-mail addresses, whether is has a hotmail.com e-mail or aol.com, or excite.com or even e-mails hosted on our servers!

Also I have just noticed that when people request a password change on our forums we get the e-mail saying the above error.

So bascially our clients are not getting any of our updates nor password changes.

I e-mailed EV1 servers, but they have yet get back to me.

Has anyone had this problem or knows what the problem is? Could it be a setting, we do have Amavis with CLAM Anti-Virus installed.

Thank you for your help.

Do you have reverse DNS setup on your IP?

I have seen this on our servers occassionally. I can't confirm a real reason other than offering a resolution that we typically use. When I see this, I usually find that 127.0.0.1 is the only resolver. Adding an additional resolver from the data center typically fixes this.
