I want to work for a host...

I have sort of been thrust into the RH Linux/web hosting scene over the past three years, due to a website that I never thought would make it turning out to be quite popular for what it is.

Over the course of the last three years, I have constantly researched hosts, their offerings, support levels, dedicated servers, etc...At least once a month I make my rounds amongst them all to re-evaluate my decision to be with my current host.

Over a year ago, we moved from our 4th virtual hosting account (we were careful not to pick a plan that offered 'unlimited transfer', because we were growing by 50% each month for a while, and kept having to jump to higher plans to keep up with the bandwidth) to our first dedicated server, and am now on our third dedicated server (with OLM, and quite happy at the moment).

Last year I was laid off from my real job, and almost started my own hosting company, reselling for Communitech. Two days before I was ready to open my account, I found another job though. Now, THIS job looks like it's going to dissappear in the next month or so.

I am seeking employment with a reputable web hosting firm (reseller's are certianly OK) as a sales person on a strictly commision basis. I don't want to work for just ANYBODY. I want to work for someone that can be creative in their sales promotions, and allow me to be creative and have some flexibility as well. I have worked from a home office, telecommutting for the last 3 years, and would like to continue to do so in regards to this.

Keep in mind that I don't wish to be a reseller at this point, only to work in sales at an exsisting company. My current position is selling industry specific software directly to top level companies such as Bank of America, GlaxoSmitheKline, Wachovia/First Union, Volvo, and many more..

If you are interested in contacting me, you may email me at jcranfill@triad.rr.com, or ICQ at 6112059.
