Well, We have a customer using vmware to accomplish virtual processor partitioning on his 4 way server.
Actually pretty cool -
Processor 1 - Linux - Web Server
Processor 2 - Linux - Application/DB Server
Processor 3 - Windows File Server
processor 4 - Windows Print Server
Very cool stuff, as vmware will allow him to "reboot" and individual processor, as well as run a different OS off of each processor (if he wanted too)
Anyway, thats my only vmware experience, not sure if this is what youre looking for....
