Question

Regarding Rochen

Hello all,

This might be a little too DIRECT a Q, given they're often on WHT themselves, but I'll press on: Has anyone got anything to say regarding hosting with Rochen.

Am looking to move very soon, want to know. I'm not IN the UK, but then I gather their servers are in the US anyways (with everyone else's). :-)
Should I really be looking for someone local to me? (Aus')

I'm open to any and all thoughts. Well, sensible ones.
Thanks. :-)

Secondly, any truth to my suggestion that Rochen should be pronounced something like "Rockin" rather than "Roach-en"? ;-)

Aragond

Chris (Rochen) is a top bloke that looks after his clients well. You will not be dissapointed. In regards to your local hosting request, bandwidth in AU has come down quite a bit in the last 12 months and you can find deals with local servers as good as the US counterparts.

What you really need to determine is your budget, and where your target audience will be if over 60% are in AU I would suggest going with a provider that is local.

ditto on that. Maybe you should change the way you spell/pronounce it.

I'm not sure they consider themselves "big". They've been running for a few years, and I've known Chris for about 2 years. He's a stand up bloke and they offer a good service.

Chris from Rochen is overrated. :: Prism fleeeeeees back over to the SMF/YSE boards and taunts Chris some more there ::

Rochen's growing on me, slowly, both as a great poster and as a solid web host. You can't go wrong with him.
