Speed test, if you would

I'm anxious to see how these compare on a national/global scale. I've been co-locating locally for the last couple years but the data center to my cable modem is only 8 hops, half LAN traffic. So I've been spoiled and response times anywhere else seem slow now. Pings would be nice but the new provider blocks them at the router, so...

Compare/contrast: (~10.7MB)

http://argon.getwebspace.com/postgresql-7.3.4.tar.gz

and

http://xenon.getwebspace.com/postgresql-7.3.4.tar.gz

Thanks in advance.

(...I'm running out of noble gases.)

Argon started off at 190 then climbed steadily up to 375kb/sec before finishing.
Xenon started off at 155, and stayed there for 80% of the file, before jumping to 355, then 400.
From Massachusetts, US.

From Malaysia Myloca Doubt you need anymore speed test from US since others would be doing that.

Thanks a ton guys... somewhat disappointed in Xenon. Both fast of course, but Argon seems better connected overall. Really impressed with the ServerMatrix speeds... tempting. Since I'm moving from Argon to Xenon, I hate to take a step backwards in connectivity.

Argon is at a local data center here - yes Sioux Falls, South Dakota has big pipes (1.8MB/s from FDC!) - and Xenon is at Bocacom in Florida. I've only been with Bocacom a week, really nice guys and the little I've heard from others has all been very good. I've only had two support tickets, both during the day and relative non-issues, and they were responded to within a few minutes. But for raw network power it is pretty impossible to compete with the size of, say, ServerMatrix. I believe Bocacom is actually located in a Verio center with a direct Ethernet connection so I'm fairly certain the lag comes from Verio, as a traceroute suggests. But I think I need a multi-homed center to truly be happy - I might look into ServerMatrix again.

If you're looking for first-name-basis support and the above results are fine with you (and why not?) then I'd recommend Bocacom.
