Question

htaccess help

Can anyone show me how to do a re-write in the .htaccess file to send all calls for links.cgi to another page?
reason: I had some time ago a FFA page
yeppers bad idea...I'm currently using the deny statement but it is filling up my error logs. And with millions of single sites I can't deny all of them. I'm running Apache/1.3.27...TIA

I intially struggled with mod_rewrite, essentially they're just regular expressions and if you are familar with Perl or Java regular expressions it shouldn't be too much of a learning curve.

The tutorials out there suck, with the exception of this one:

Try this in your .htaccess file:

RewriteEngine on
RewriteRule ^links\.cgi$ netlinks.php [L]
