More about Servercove.com

I've been with Servercove.com for about three months now. I travel between US and Japan quite frequently and decided to stop by their offices and tour their facility. A somewhat smaller operation right now but they have been growing quite well. And have a pretty impressive datacenter. I started with a dedicated server, and now decided to colocate 2 servers with them (one new and one shipped from a hosting company in Texas). One of the servers got to them 2 days ago and was put online the same day.

I've honestly found them to be extremely helpful and personable and do everything they can to help me when I need it. As far as the spam stuff goes not sure if it directly sent from them or what, but they provide good service and it only seems to be improving.

Good first post,

Attention readers, servercove is big time spammers, I have received 40 spam emails on my 40 different public accounts already. I think this is another plea for attention.

Smile Oh

Thank you for your comment, like I said I don't like the idea of spam either. But at least its not worthless or empty spam. A solid product behind it :-)

Yeah, and that comment pretty much confirmed (for ME) that you are somehow associated with the spammer.

I think so, no?

And FYI I beleive that is the whole marketing slant for Viagra also, getting a solid product but it doesn't make the advert method any better, spam is spam is spam, even with green eggs and ham.

hmm

But surly the makers of viagra arn't the ones directly sending the spam, you shouldn't accuse people because of the marketing done under their name, or through a scewed marketing company unless for certain you know they are responsible directly. I just can't help trying to depend a company that has been great to me , thats all.

No the makers of Viagra don't have to spam their product themselves, they have thousands of spammers to do it for them.

Looks as though if you are going to use the "it was somebody else that spammed our stuff" excuse then servercove needs to step up and recruit hundreds of spammers to spam for them so the spam won't be directly traceable to servercove, which in the cases provided below, it goes right back to them.

Email is primative..

Email is getting primative anyway, just relax, I dont understand why everyone on this board is uptight about everything not just spam, you guys are like a collection of the most pissed off people. And you all congragate here because no one else will listen to you speak, and because you have been rejected by multipule hosting providers because most of you are unreasonable jackasses.

The only reason people talk on this board is:

A. To promote something
B. To bitch about something
C. Because you worthless and your only sense of power is talking on a f**ckng messageboard instead of doing some constructive.

I guess you're not a spammer then - you must be employed by ServerCove.com. We don't like spam here. I'm not a hardcore anti-spam person or anything, I hate blacklists & usually don't filter my email. I would never do business with a company that spams their services, or else that would tell them that spamming works, and to fill my inbox with more crap. To address your points:

A. Yes, I use this board for promotion. I did not originally come here for that fact, and did not start using the advertising forums for a few months.

B. You'll never see me bitching about something without reason. Come to think of it, you won't find me or most of us bitching about much of anything.

C. How does talking on a message board give a sense of power? I don't have any work sitting in front of me now, so I'm here. I might as well get more familiar with the industry instead of staring at my monitor waiting for an email or an order to come in.

By the way, what spam doesn't have a solid product? Porn, enlargements, ink refils, cable tv descramblers, legal drugs, fake marijuana (and that's all of the spam that I've gotten in the last few days) are all products. Some scams, some not.

You appear to be there exeception here then. The sense of power has to do with people who like to complain, and when they have a forum to complain they get a sense of power out of it. If you are not familour with this, then you are not one of those people and you obviously arn't by your post. Thank you.

You just registered this month, I've been here for over a year - you may want to actually look around the forums before making comments. Since I've been here, obviously people have complained a lot, but most of the complaints are backed up by facts. Those that aren't... well, they're usually ripped to pieces or ignored.

Oh, yeah that makes sense, but then again, if you haven't noticed, there are tons of us here that are....ahem.....the hosting providers, and some of us probably do have that complex of rejecting ourselves now and then.

Got an answer for ya:

(A) True, I like to promote good old fashioned business ethics (i.e. not spamming or being spam friendly).
(B)True, I like to bitch about those that do promote their offers via spam.
(C) No argument, I am worthless, I know what I am and I'll admit it, so now will you admit what you are and say you are servercove and that you are a spammer? We are all being honest here, eh?

Well I made my point based on an observation of going through a decent amount of messages. I'm sure you have a better prespective on this forum then I would obviously but, I just gave a basic impression. If you see me using these boards in the future, you can ask me if my opinion has changed. I do how ever thank you for reasonable reply.

Believe it or not I am not Servercove but I do know a couple techs who work there, and they are for sure pretty pissed off about the spam that has been sent out. I'm trying to get someone from there to post on here and explain the situation, and their feelings.
