Colo terms and prices

I found the following monthly fees:

$200 Full Relay rack escorted access
$200 1/3 Secure Cabinet unescorted Access
$300 1/2 Secure Cabinet unescorted access
$500 Full Secure Cabinet unescorted access

at http://www.tranxactglobal.com/colocation.html

and was wondering how those prices compare and how muchroom a full relay rack is vs. 1/3 secure cabinet (i.e. 1u, 6u whatever)

I am new to this terminology and appreciate the expertise and guidance offered here.

Thanks

Full rack is usually ~42 Rack Units. 1 Rack unit is 1.75 Inches.

42/3 = 14U = 24.5 inches.
42/2 = 21U = 36.75 inches.
42U = 73.5 inches.

Does escorted access mean physical access to the rack? (I assume this is what: "$200 Full Relay rack escorted access means")

If so is this really worth 2.5 times more per month?

thanks!

escorted means that one of the datacenters staff has to be with you when doing work in the rack.

Unescorted is the opposite.

Thanks - 1 more question - in terms of bandwidth what does "$125 / meg on 95% billing (1 meg minimum) " mean?
