RandyWalker, if you have something to suggest that would help des24man's site, please say so, there's no need to be rude.

des24man, I thought the dancing cake toppers (I think they're cake toppers) are funny, lol.

Here's a few tips:
Your <title>s, shouldn't say "Untitled Document", change it to fit your site (usually the domain name fits nicely there).

You should at least specify a background color (via CSS or in your <body> tag), everyone doesn't have their browsers background set to white.

Basically, find a good CSS/HTML help site and read through them and apply it to your site.

Good luck!

On all pages:

Your code's not valid and it doesn't pass WCAG 1.0 or section 508 compliance tests.

Your page's title is "Untitled Document".

On the main page:

<%@LANGUAGE="VBSCRIPT" CODEPAGE="1252"%>

shows up at the top of the page.

Your logo could have smoother edges.

Your main page doesn't match the Flash pages.

On the Flash page:
The moving logo is distracting. The dancing people is just weird.

(About)The blue background makes the text hard to read and it doesn't match the rest of the site. Also, you use a different font than you use elsewhere.

(Pictures)Your white background doesn't line up between frames.

Your navigation bar's top is cut off by the pictures (1 px or so only).

Take a look at websites of other several other companies. See what they have in common. See what's unique. What do they have that you like? What do they have you don't like?

Use this to build your site.

Also, consider using Cascading Stylesheets to control the appearance of your page.

Another suggestion is to lose the frames completely. They're generally a nightmare (not always, but in most cases).

I don't think using CSS or improving the coding is going to help the site. The design is just not very good IMO. I would second Randy's suggestion that you have a look at other websites and see what works. Don't mean to be discouraging at all ... you just need to keep practicing and keep trying ... got to start somewhere. I think some people were just a bit tickled by your "professional site" comment.

Cheers, Victor
