They are under a very large DDOS attack, read more about it in this forum (there are other posts) although laggy there has been NO downtime apart from when they rebooted the CORE switch.

I didn't say DOWN, I said lagging, read the post again.

Personally, I don't care to read what they post on their forums as it's always them blaming something else, or someONE else (at&t, their cat, etc) for their own problems, hence the reason I'm leaving.

Any reasonable, professional provider will have something in place to filter these out, and with as much crap as Burst has had in their networks over the past year, you'd think they would have learned. This specific attack went on for hours on end. I really don't care what their latest "excuse" is, when it gets so bad that it affects ME personally REPEATEDLY for hours on end, it's time to leave. When my own proxy server can't be found because of someone's network screwup, repeatedly, it's time to pull the plug.

There are hundreds of network providers out there, all 10x more professional and 10x more stable than Burst. There's really no reason for their crap, but they'll always pull something up. Like I said, it's not uncommon for them to blame their dog, their cat, the local provider, ANYTHING but their own service.

So leave, does ranting and raving really do anything for you? Is it going to do anything to burst? Obviously they know theres a problem and obviously they are working on a solution. If you dont like the speed of which they work then leave. Noone's begging you to stay with them.

PS: I dont think anyone cares if you think it's time for you to leave them. Submit a ticket to cancel and done. This isnt nocstersupport.com

Is Nocster Down?

Hi,

Can anyone reach Nocster, all of my servers at Nocster are unreachable and I cannot access the Nocster site.

Anyone with the same problem?

Leigh

You're not the only one essexguy. They did have a large DoS attack but that should have been sorted by now.
Seems there are still network issues and service is up and down.
I dont have a problem getting to the Nocster site or Burstnet forums though.

I think they made a new forum for these kind of posts. Go back to the main page and you will notice the last forum at the bottom. "Network Outages and Updates". Seems thats where they are moving all these threads.

Never seen that forum before but thats where a couple threads like this one got moved to.
