Can anybody please recommend a good and competitively priced co-location company in Australia.

I am looking for a company that does not have expensive bandwidth costs ... or are bandwidth costs so high in Australia that the only sensible option is to colocate in the United States?

Any thoughts appreciated.

downunder, I would suggest colo'ing in the USA, australian bandwidth prices are still overly expensive..

If you find something in Southern Cali that would be pretty good routes to AU, especially if they use Teleglobe BW (try contacting scottk@mzima.net )

Pricing per GB is basically like pricing by the average usage (mbit wise), it's usually 25% less than doing 95th precentile.

like AusJeff said, there are some decent deals to be made I guess, price will still be lower and not too much worse if you try west coast of the USA, but if you want Aus it definately can be had for a decent price.

I bet posting in the requests forum would produce at least 1-2 offers

Unfortunately 1 or 2 others may be it.

There aren't many at all that can offer it at these prices. Australia normally bases pricing on either unlimited out, charged in (like around $0.11/MB !!!) and a lot are even moving to a ratio of 1:4 (1 in, 4 out) and still at $0.11/MB, or does drop to about $0.02/MB if you use a lot of data.

That's why $1/GB in Australia is dirt cheap. But compared to the US it's still got a while to go.
