I note that Learner hasn't said anything at all (any reason Learner? ) about reaching the 200-post mark, but he's on 204 and counting as I write - thus reaching 'God-hood status'. Welcome to Olympus, Learner!
Btw, since you're from India, I'm curious to know if you identify with any Hindu gods in particular? Like Shiva? (LOL!)
P.S. Before anyone whinges about us celebrating reaching 200 posts, please bear in mind that this is all in fun, and I duly remind everyone that it is quality, not quantity that counts. Much like Pieter van den Hoogenband's stunning swim over Ian Thorpe in the 200m freestyle last night. Congrats to Pieter.

Not to forget Eric MOUSSAMBANI from Equatorial Guinea who managed to win his heat of the 100 metres in the swimming
There was 3 people in the heat, 2 were disqualified for false starts leaving him alone, and he managed to finish the race in 1min 52 seconds only narrowly missing out on the world record by about a minute and 5 seconds
I'm not sure if they are showing that on TV in America as much as they are down here in Oz, but its on every 5 mins, lol.

In the valley looking up !!!
Hi BC and Dana!!! LOL!!! Yeah... I may be a GOD now, but am not an angel of knowledge yet... so I possess no wings as angels do. Without wings it is gonna be a long arduous climb up to the peak where most of my other helpful friends sit... a position they rightly deserve
Right now I may have reached Mount Olympus... but am standing down here under its shadow in the valley!!! looking up waving to you guys
By the way, I'm not too tall... so maybe I'm the dwarfiest of the Gods yet!!! What is so nice about Mount Olympus is that the kind giant Gods let us little dwarf Gods sit on their shoulders so that we can see as far as they do too!!!
In India here we have a lot of Gods, not hundreds but actually thousands of them!!! Shiva, Bhrama, Vishnu, Indra (the sun God), Ganesh, Krishna, etc. are just some of the really powerful knowledgeable Gods like you guys sitting on the top of Mount Olympus are!!!
To answer BC's question, the only Gods I identify with are the knowledgeable Gods in this forum. I also identify as a devoted disciple of many of the knowledge Gurus here who will soon be joining us all at Mount Olympus
Learner
<wishes there was a "climbing smiley" as well!!!>

JTY,
Heck, don't worry about the no. of posts. Quality not quantity is what counts.
Michael,
I watched that on the news last night. Quite admirable, and I'm sure it'll encourage more nations to try swimming out. But do you think they got just a bit scared by our 4X200m freestyle team last night?
Learner,
You should see a chariot from my servant racing down to pick you up quite soon...

What if I posted one answer to a question that helped out 10 people. Or if i posted 10 and it only helped out 1. Then it really wasnt worth it.

Chris, good point, but I was more referring to the perception that some had of the 'big posters' trying to inflate their number of posts....

Gee!!! Thanks BC... its always a pleasure to hitch a ride with you in your unicorn powered chariot
Chris, HELP is always HELP... whether one helps an individual or many. HELP is always appreciated. It also may so happen that one's post may help just one individual at the time it is posted, but as more and more people access this forum as time passes, you may be HELPING them out to... only you may never know how many you HELPED in the long run
One thing really good about all of us here is that we rarely treat a question with scorn or disdain, no matter how silly or amateurish it may sound.

He doesn't have Thorpe's built-in fins.
Just to be a participant has to be cool, since most participants go knowing they have little chance. And years later we still remember the Jamacian bobsledders and Eddie the Eagle, but I couldn't tell you who won the gold in those events.
Now for the post: This site is a most valuable resource in my quest for a GOOD web host. Thanks to all for participating. We can all benefit from others experiences,
even the painful ones.

Kinda' nice, MikeA!!! LOL!!!
I was always wondering where the Gods reside?
In the heavens? OR In the minds and hearts of people?
Now I know the answer... at NEITHER of the above!!!
The Gods reside on Mt. Olympus
OKAY... since we are talking about GODS and all...
Let's see who can answer this one... heh... heh!!!
"What is better than GOD, greater than NATURE, dead people eat it... but if you eat it you will die?"
Think... think... think... !!!! I'll tell all of ya' the actual answer tomorrow. There really is a thing like that... I'm not joking... I swear on GOD!!!
