I would like to know if you guys think that an affiliate program would help boost my sales. I would be offering a $50 referral on every sale. Has anyone used http://www.affiliateshop.com?

Anyways, a referral program is just one of the popular ways in which you could expand. I personally think it is a good idea. However, let me point out that not all webhosting companies offer a referral plan. There has to be a solid reason for this. Maybe you will find an answer in this thread itself.

We will be offering $50 for one of our plans and $25 for all of the others neither are dedicated also. Learner do you think this will go good with people?

The question is, will you still make money after the referral fee? If not, lower it. $25 is nice, but $5 would probably do the trick too.

We have been tossing the affiliate program idea around too and I think that we are going to do a click based program.

Ultimately, can it hurt to have an affiliate program? I don't think so.

As MikeA said, will you be making money after dishing out such a high referral commission? That is for you to decide.

But do take our advice... don't spread your profit margins too thin. You must make sure that you will earn a good amount at the end of each day. Remember, you WILL have to remain competitive also.

But yes, a $25 dollar referral perk is very very very attractive !!!!!!!! No doubt about that

Do email me and let me know whenever you start offering this kind of referral plan. Who knows, I may just give up reselling and start referring !!!! That fact there would be no support headaches in addition... oooh, this is something I just couldn't ignore so easily
