hello everyone:

usually, how much does a collocation provider charge for a half-rack and with 10 Mbps? with 5Mbps? and with 1Mbps?

i am trying to get a rough idea because i have half a rack of space that i have contracted in, but not using at the moment and i want to rent it out to someone else to use.

Can vary greatly depending on the datacenter, bandwidth providers, support, and etc. maybe you should tell us who you are with currently.

the space is with XO in Fremont,Ca. the facility has staff onsite. also, the reseller has a network guy who comes there when emergency arises.

Vanle, the price ranges a lot! Could be around $600 from a reseller in the XO DC in Fremont of can be more than $800 in the eXchange DC in CA.

Prices vary, choose wisely on the providers and support, don't just choose because of the price.

you should really base the price on how much you are paying for it. You dont want to undercut yourself.
