Question

I have a reseller account with 2 nameservers.

I have several domains on this account but none of them is showing after uploading the files.

I'm using WHM and defined DNS zones for each domain.

What's the problem ?

Thanks... alot!

I have a car with manual transmission.

I have several places I want to drive the car, but it won't move anywhere.

I've given the car gasoline and turned the key in the ignition.

What's the problem?

Thanks... alot!

Inane parodies aside, there are a huge number of things which might be causing your problem. Unless you give us some more details -- what the domains are, what files are supposed to be there, what IP addresses they are supposed to be on, etc -- we're not going to be able to do much more than wildly speculate.

Nice joke

1. The nameservers are:

ns1.romedchim.com (216.118.81.172) and ns2.romedchim.com (ns2.romedchim.com)

2. The problem domain is: www.lift.ro

3. The problem domain has no IP.

4. The files supposed to be there are index.html & others...

Thanks for the joke... alot!

Well, the first thing I notice is that several of the authoritative nameservers for .ro aren't delegating the domain properly yet. Out of the seven servers four are still pointing at mchost.com, while the other three point at romedchim.com. Wait a while to let the DNS sort itself out.

The second thing I notice is that Apache isn't configured correctly on 216.118.81.172. All I get is the default apache "it works" page.

...

1. About Apache. The server configuration is beyond my control, at least I suppose... Should I ask the company I'm reselling for ?

2. Do you have a URL for the DNS stuff ? I'm new in this jungle and I'd like to know a little bit more.

Thks.

toma1708: Well, Apache is configured correctly since the IPs used for the nameservers are not supposed to resolve in a website. I notice that 2 of the hosted domains are resolving fine, but the other one's not. Yet, they have the same DNS zone files (with the corresponding domain, of course). I will send you an email shortly explaining this issue.
