Just wondering if today is still Thanksgiving holiday in the US.

FDC is taking a whole lot longer than it usually does to respond to my support ticket. It's been 9 hours. The problem has nothing to do with their network; it's a problem with my colo server.

I even emailed Petr and got no reply. Usually he replies almost instantly.

I'm going nuts here. I feel so powerless. I'm just staring at outlook waiting for any sign for life from FDC.

They are there, I've had a couple of quick responces from their helpdesk today

Yep, they answered me. Took a lot longer than usual though (took 10 hours.. usually takes less than 30mins).

They got mine rebooted in 10 minutes.

It seems like a luck of the draw situation. Can be 5mins, can be 24hours...

But there are plenty of posts regarding this already, propably more than any other topic on the whole of WHT, it should just be expected from FDC nowadays until they really start shaking up properly.

We had our CC charged twice by them, a CC we hadnt used with them for over 3 months. We thought we'd let them do the refunds rather than chargebacks and see how long it took. 2 weeks in case anyones interested. I guess we'll use the word chargeback a little more fruitfully if it happens again, seems to prick up the ears slightly better than just "we demand a refund".
