Hello,

We are looking for a partner to join us in our start-up company. The company is focused in on providing services to a niche market. We have all the resources for start-up, and most of the planning is complete.

We are looking for an individual that understands techonology. Specifially server management. He or she will have to know about setting up dedicated servers, colocation, software setup (freebsd, unix, linux, apache, php, modules), mysql, mssql, etc and security issues. While knowlege of both Windows and Uxnix related machines is preferred it is not necessary. We do require you have a good grasp of Unix related servers. The individual must also have some kind of customer service experience.

Requirements:
-Good knowledge of servers, the various way they can be setup(dedicted, shared, colocated). Initially Unix based, but windows would be prefferred too.
-Grasp of bandwith and server space issues.
-Software that is used on servers. Including setting up many of the common types (freebsd, unix, linux, apache, php, modules, mysql, mssql )
-Security Issues.
-Keeping up with technological advances, and helping the other partners understand how and why they are important.
-Good Customer Service Skills (this responsibility will be shared by all individuals in the startup stage)
-Driven, focused individual.

While we do understand the basics of server setup, and can probably manage to start up. We are looking for a partner that undertands techonology and can help us by providing insight into the decisions that will be made on a day to day basis.
