Hi guys

I got a windows 2000 server

I run MS dns on the server also

Can anyone advise me how to change the ips of the domains on MS DNS .
Is there any way i can just change them all in a single attempt or if you can recommend any script that can change the ips for all of the domains.

I KNOW there are a few non linux techS left out there

You can use a text search and replace program -- the DNS info is stored in text files in the system32\dns folder under your Windows directory (usually winnt in Windows 2000 and Windows on Windows Server 2003).

Be careful to make a full backup of the DNS files first, just in case!

You will need to change the IPs in IIS as well of course, and potentially in your mailserver etc.
