yeah... eZ publish is not an ready-to-use product...
it's a php framework dude ^_^
plus, ezp 3.3 which will release this september will be a ready-to-use cms, ez crew have promise it ^_^
I have used alot of cms, they're ezp 2.2, ezp 3 series, mambo, *nuke, typo3... yeah, alot... I'm interested in any CMS out there
But because I'm a PHP coder, I consider eZ publish the best because its framework is very powerful, you can use mambo with available module, but if you want to code your own... it's not as easy as ezp...
just my two cents ^_^
btw, I think I have gone two far from the subject, if it just ready-to-use cms, I think you are right... mambo server is more understandable than ezp
