How did you do that !!??

Hey Guys,
I have been developing pages from scratch for a long time now. I have a client that came to me with a template page that he purchased and I want to get it edited right. I have a photoshop psd and the outputted html's. It looks pretty and nice as the html and I can change the text, but I want to make the text areas a bit bigger in some spots, smaller in others, etc etc.
When I try to do this, the tables get all crazy as you know how it is. How do I go about exporting it from photoshop and make the text areas as TEXT FIELDS and not as Graphics. do you go into image ready at all? How do you differentiate text as a graphic, and text as text for html output.
Any help greatly appreciated.
Thanks
Frank S

Sorry, I always break it up manually. Don't know if its the 'best' way or not, but I feel like I have more control that way.

Fsiano, you should be more patient. Sometimes replies come within minutes, sometimes within days

I'm sorry but I don't really understand your question entirely, but from what I gather, you need to take away the text in Photoshop over these buttons, and just use HTML or CSS to place you text over that button in a normal HTML document

In ImageReady, you can set the slice type to be either image or text. Then once you save it as html, you can easily edit the text area - adding background colors or images.

Time is a Virtue. You were right VRonline. Sorry for getting so ancy.
Back to the topic. I think you have a good idea of what I am shooting for optimal.
Basically I want this. I want to export the images and have them show up exactly like they look in photoshop but the text I want to be actual text, and the images, well images.

Well I took Optimals advice and I found the spot where you output as html. AWESOME !!! This was the option I forgot.

I also wanted to ask you guys a question in regards to fonts. I see that they have used some fancy font, definitely not in the windows pre install set. How will this show up on the web if someone doesn't have it installed? Are they installed into the web browsers?
If anyone can throw me some pointers on the exporting from photoshop to obtain clean html let me know.
Thanks to all who have replied so far
Frank S

I guess this is what I am trying to get at.
When the Template was outputted, the images are placed as Backgrounds of tables, then there are table cells created over it to hold other imagery and text. Take a look at this link here

http://www.findessays.com/example/example.jpg

Notice how it is all sliced up. But remember that everything is in as table backgrounds, not actual images within a table cell. They are basically a big table, with a background image ,then lots of new cells above to hold the text, etc.

How do I get it to output like this???
Anyone know? Please shoot me any pointers by replying with a post. If anyone is kind enough post your aim and I can explain it live if you are willing.
Thank you to all that reply
Frank
