Web design Question

Hi, I'm wondering, how do you make it so that if you click on a button and then another menu appears on the middle of the page without the page loading?

DHTML, which is a combination of HTML and Javascript.
It would likely have to involve some form of scripting, since you're changing content dynamically.

Thanks, but I have haven't found any that suit me...

Take a look at this picture: http://www.rcrcyouth.com/dhtml_menu.jpg

When someone clicks on a "Link" in that menu I want another menu to appear over where it says "Another Menu Opens Here" and nothing in between them...

you COULD do that with iframes, but it would load a separate page there so I guess its not what you're after.

Also, I am very rusty but you should be able to use javascript to do that. Use that 'hidden=' attribute, and some javascript on the links to either hide or show the right menu.

I'm pretty sure there is a script like that, it doesnt sound too uncommon. And even if its not like that in default, you should be able to customize. I know for sure dhtmlcentrals menu script is very customizable.

You could visit webmonkey.com and learn how to do DHTML that way you could write your custom script and not rely on someone else's.

There are tons of examples of that everywhere and isnt too hard to do... Just dig a little and get exactly what you want.
