Buzhost out of business?

It seems that I have made the horrible mistake of signing up with Buzhost. The server has been down now for over 32 hours. Im stuck with nothing. Is this the case? Is anyone else in this same situation? Im saddened.

Sorry to hear that, they seem to have an affiliation with Klan-Host. 32 hours with no word is a little too long, perhaps its time to obtain a new reputable provider?

I find it useless to try and contact Dave. If my site and his site are both down, then I presume that his mail server is down too, also the fact that I cant access my email. 36 hours with no word tells me that he pretty much gave up on me.

I have read the posts today about him and Klan-host. I feel betrayed. I have been with Buzhost for less than a month, the service was great! He always answered my emails, oftentimes within minutes. Its rather embarrassing, to say the least. I wont sit here and talk trash about the guy, because that wont solve anything. But I feel obligated to get the word out.

I wish I could afford a better hosting company, but Im on a budget. Im just very embarrassed and angry.

Give it a try.. .Doesn't cost anything to send an email...

Some hosts have they're clients stuff in other hosts for things like this...

It might just be a big hardware / software / Internet issue...

Good luck

Yeah, most hosts try to have at least one contact channel that is separate from the hosting server.

Try as many avenues as you can. I hope that you have your own back ups. If so, getting things up and running with a new host should not be too difficult.

I think buzhost's servers are at TMS which if you have a look in the dedicated server forum they lost connectivity completely.

Hello,

We Have Our Servers Hosted With TMS, read about their problems here:

http://www.webhostingtalk.com/showth...hreadid=190608

We will be re-funding every customer with their months hosting.
An email has been sent to all customers.

A little update out of fairness.

I tracked down Dave via Klan-host and shot him an email. He replied with an explanation that was rather extensive. So, to spare everyones eyes, I wont post it. The email basically is a copy and paste of TMS JoseQs post at http://www.webhostingtalk.com/showth...&pagenumber=3. Though the ending was changed to talk about the new IPs that his customers would need.

As I have stated before, Dave has always treated me fairly. I hold no hard feelings against him. I hope that something gets worked out soon. In the mean time I have been working on lining something up.

I currently have an account there for my status page and apparently ips were changed. Here is a portion of the email sent.
Hope this helps.

The Line Is Now Connect and seems to be doing fine. Unfortunately everything now has new IPs:

If you are a standard virtual webhosting customer, there wont be a problem, however your site will be down for about another 12 hours whilst are DNS sorts itself out.

If you have a reseller account you need to set your new nameserver IPs to:

216.66.18.126 ns1.yourdomain.com
216.66.18.127 ns2.yourdomain.com
216.66.18.134 ns3.yourdomain.com
