I changed my host name, but it came back!

I have an ensim server running on Red Hat 7.3.

There are numerous articles about how to change the hostname, which I have followed. After editing /etc/hosts and /etc/sysconfig/network, the hostname showed up as secure.domain.com.

However, after rebooting, the hostname reset back to ns.domain.com.

Has anyone seen this? Does it have anything to do with the server running BIND?

I have successfully done this on other Ensim servers, but this one is being a pain the arse!

Any help is appreciated.

For future reference to anyone.. read my replies here... this has happened to me before as well.... and in my experience, this method had fixed the issue permanently in -all- instances.
