who in their right mind would colocate in east washington? there's nothing there, and you have seattle sitting there with the westin and all the rich telco presence in the downtown area...

upstate new york, new jersey, NYC yes.

seattle area? no. back in the day i had friends up there in FCI, but their services were marked up extremely high, as it was an adult network and they didn't technically need any more new customers, they had enough on their own heh

i also have no names that pop in my head when i think seattle..

I'll check with a friend of mine who has a cage in the Fisher building to see who his provider is. So far he's been pretty happy with what his service.

I talked with my friend today about where his servers are. He's got a cage in the Fisher Building. It runs him around $1800/month I think. The's got a 3mbit line (10mbit burst) from Internap to his cage there which runs him $1200/month (again, it's an I think). It's not cheap, but so far it's been a pretty good setup for his company. I hope this helps.
