I recently registered HotHostHomes.com and plan to build a site around it. I got a tentative appraisal of "less than $60" from a friend...I was wondering if anyone could confirm that or expand on it. If the price is right I might sell the domain.

You forget about the content... the domains are worth a lot because they are developed and have a lot of quality traffic.

Having you say that how many year did it take to make webhostingtalk.com what it is today? To me it looks alot of effort and money, its truefully now days its not really worth pumping money into longer names! thats my view,
