Is Affordableservers.net always this unprofessional?
I’ve seen Affordablecolo.net and their sister site affordableservers.net spoken of very highly around here so I thought I’d send them an email just asking a few basic questions. I was a surprised when I got the responses. They were very unprofessional (vague and didn't answer much really) and basically broken English that reminded me of a 14 year old gamer.
My question is are they always like this? If this is the kind of responses I get how I can I expect the support to be any better?
I’ll post the emails if requested...

I looked into getting some servers through them. The thing that turned me off was the amount of spelling mistakes in their emails. Yes, call me crazy, but it totally turned me off doing business with them.

well i'm glad i'm not the only one then. and yes it really turned me off too. i'm used to having an admin explain what they do and try and answer everything so i feel confident with paying them for a service. not get "u can install them yourselves" to a question about if i could install a piece of software.....

Well yeah I am used to it but it has no place when talking to a possible customer/client.

Yes I agree, email needs to be much more professional, customers/potential customers need to get respect in a reply, and I believe that using IM lingo in a sales contact is not respectful at all to the potential client.

VNPIXEL: I'm not sure whats more frightening, what you said, or the fact I managed to read that at about the same pace as regular writing. They're obviously onto something there

No, the emails were private. Unlike some I don't consider it professional to make public the contents of private commercial emails.

It might be an idea to contact the company in question linking this form. No body has actually commented who have used this company’s services or solutions. I am sure they would be very interested to know who ever is responding to sales emails is portraying their organisation in an unprofessional manner. No body has actually tried to flame this colo/dedicated host for a bad level of service maybe their sales staff just need a clip around the ears.

Perhaps they have sales e-mail outsourced?
