DOC to PDF file plugin for MS Word


I'm not sure if this si the right place to post this but has anyone of you know of a simple plug-in for MS Word which can save to a PDF file? A free one if possible. Thanks!

Hi abang,

This is, of course, not free, but you can always buy Adobe Acrobat, and then all you have to do is click print, then choose the Acrobat Distiller.. and wallah.. a pdf of your word document.

It seems to me that I tried that free one once, and it did a pretty poor job of properly rendering the document's formatting into the PDF doc...

I agree with Rich's implied sentiments, "The one and only way to go is with Adobe Acrobat." Dang shame they charge so much for it now... I bought like v4 back when it was (as I recall) less than $100!

They have different versions don't they.

I'm running Acrobat 5 still. Haven't bothered upgrading to 6

Ayuh... And have you looked at the price for v6.0? US$449.00 if buying it outright, US$149.00 for an upgrade!
