McHost stats are Bogus?

I am one of the few still with McHost. I have been dealing with billing problems for over 6 months. Promised credits, Refunds, etc. Oh BTW it was refunded to your card.... Sure.

Now my server is down ( I only have a few sites left on it.....). I go and check the alerta site they have given us for the server and it says it is up... Weird. I can not reach it in any way shape or form but alerta says it is up.... Is anyone else on Geneva and are your sites up?

if i remember correctly, the server name is geneva.dnsrouter.com? If so, its up for me. might be isp or connection problems to your area.

MCHOST turned off ping on all servers a long time ago.

ilrhost, That server actually looks good to what geneva has looked like over the last 6 months. If i remember right the average uptime is in the low 97% and that is because it has actually been up for the last 2 months, so it says.

I might know what is going on by the morning, in about 14 hours. That is when they usually respond to tickets.

Just looking sometimes on that specific server when I want to see a real bad server... I was on that server until may and moved away while a outage. I'm very happy now, good pings, fast server, no outage at all.

Update

Maybe I jumped the gun. It appears my IP was blocked for some reason. But it did take like 24 hours on an urgent ticket to clear it up....

Don't ping then repeatedly. They will block your IP. I had that happen to me a few weeks ago, too.
