Sites do NOT mean anything!!!
Using a site to determine professionalism is absurd (IMHO).

Some hosts with the worst sites have great service and others w the best sites have no service!

True enough, they may not mean much to most...but when I go to a site looking to give my hard earned money and business to, I don't want to see a cartoon network or a site that looks like a 5 yr. old designed...it would cause doubts and probably cause me to look elsewhere.

Just my $0.02

I think a site does have a bearing on how people view the company. It may not really have any bearing on the level of support or quality of service but many people certainly do think it's an important aspect. Having a less than professional looking site is sort of like going to a Corporate business meeting in jeans and a T-shirt IMO...

The RackShack site looked better, but they've recently rebranded as EV1Servers, and the design needs a little work. They are arguably the LARGEST unmanaged server provider - their latest count is over 17,000 servers. The top and bottom of the page need a little redesigning, but other than that, it looks good to me.

Are all 17,000 online? I know that Rackshack has 'ready to go' servers, so it'd be easy to fill up a datacenter with several thousand servers...but that doesn't mean that every one has a customer on them.

Before anyone decides to hop on a flame wagon, I have nothing against rackshack...I just think that the play on words is...well...over played.

You think they just let them sit there and watch them wither away and become useless? They probably have 200 servers or so on hot standby, ready for new users, at any given time, but other than that they are all in use.

While I'm not going to get into exact numbers, the number of servers 'ready to go' isnt close to in the thousands, we have some in storage, but that's not included in the 17,000. I wouldnt call it a play on words.
