to me domain names can also be looked at as brand names and 3m is been taken in my view and that sounds like a rip off

2) More Web Space, More Bandwidth, More Features
3) ... . etc

Now if you are also using the same fonts and colors like their site and logo... then you might be looking for trouble.

Right. While you are at it register IBMHost.com - it can mean "Internet Best Multi Host". As long as you don't use the same fonts and colors like IBM's site you will be in the clear...
