Anyone had problems with Siteturn?

Hi, I currently have a client that is having the worst time getting a refund from Siteturn. Not only have they charged his cc for another year, his requests to cancel and receive a refund were responded to in a very unproffesional manner. Extremely rude people! "If you have an issue that requires attention, you are to address it in a straight-forward, professional manner, if you wish to receive a resolution. Correspondences that include unwarranted threats and frivilous claims will simply be disregarded. " Mind you this man only asked that his account be cancelled and 11 months credited back to his cc. I was wondering if anyone else had had similar or other problems with these people? Feel free to e-mail me!

I've been with SiteTurn for a few of my own sites for about 3 years now, with various problems up until about last year. Since then, everything has been perfect for me. I also shut down one of my associate's accounts with them 2 months ago and they refunded right away. It seems like your client may have ticked someone off - what did your client say to them in the first place? Remember, you catch more bees with honey!

Ticked off or not mate the customer is always right unless they are way out of line. Seems to me the best way to fix a problem like this is to issue the refund.

However, it depends on whether or not the client could get the refund as well as if he was threatening them for no reason. There are two sides to a story.

I agree with you CrazyTech, but I don't think their response was that bad. I mean, if you want a refund, why not just ask for it politely, why even make "threats"? Certainly everyone has worked in Customer Service at some point and we ALL know how much of a pain "customers" can be - I should know, I am a pain-in-the-rear "customer" myself sometimes!!
