Pls recommend storefront

Hi Folks!
I'm planning to build a storefront (e-commerce) website but I'm already confused after 1 week of searching for the ideal storefront host - everybody says they are the best.

Can anyone throw up a few good names who can offer easy to build (click & build) tools + hosting. I need a storefront that can do shopping cart and link up to WorldPay and provide an easy way to include shipping charges.

Many thanks!

What language are you looking for - ASP or PHP? Have you thought about using the Click and Build from WorldPay? Do you have a web hosting company? if so - are they on a Windows or a Unix platform?

Thanks!

OScommerce

I setup a storefront for a customer using oscommerce.com and free isn't always the best, but this was a good enough solution for the customer. I had good success with their product. Just my two cents.

I'll vouch that oscommerce is pretty good as well. You can find better but probably not for free.

I would go for CubeCart - option of free or licensed (gets rid of copyright message). It used to be Brooky.com & eStore, now CubeCart (www.cubecart.com)

Greetings..

I'd say it depends.
What are you selling? To Whom?

What does the rest of your website look like?

IMNSHO..the storefront software used is secondary to how you craft the site as a whole and get customers to want to go there regularly and such.

I would be glad to be more specific in suggestions if you wanted to give us a picture of your website and business

Best

Take a look at the following: For PHP X-Cart, for Perl try Click Cart Pro, and for ASP CyberStrong.
